Revive A Workspace With These 4 Items

Happy Monday my lovelies! Can you believe we’re already in our third week of March?! I’m starting to hear the birds chirping, and as the snow slowly melts away, my soul grows happier. As a kid, I always disliked spring. It was cold, rainy and wet. Every day seemed to be cloudy and grey. As an adult, I’ve had a newfound appreciation for it. Every rainstorm would have been a snowstorm if it weren’t getting warmer, and I appreciate the rain so much more because of that. Spring is all about starting fresh, transformations, and everything coming back to life after winter.

Speaking of coming back to life, my office desk needed a little bit of a revival. It’s hard to go to the same white cubicle, day after day, week after week. If I’m going to sit and work somewhere for 8 hours a day, I may as well make it cute! Here’s how I brought my love of a beige aesthetic to my office desk space with only 4 items. 

Desk Mat - A desk mat is a must for any office, be it at home or at work. Desk mats not only enhance the look of your space, but they also prevent you from needing a mousepad, and help to keep your desk clean. Being available in a multitude of colours, I opted for this SOJITAS Non-Slip Desk Pad in the Beige-Flocking colour. What I love most about this desk pad is the fact that it’s reversible, so you get two colours in one - in case you ever want to change it up. The mat comes rolled up but it flattens so nicely in an instant. The material is soft but durable. Coffee mugs don’t leave an indented ring on it, and when that coffee spills (which on a regular basis happens to my clumsy self), it’s so easy to clean. This was my first addition to the space that brought on the need for the next necessary item. Here’s a first look at it.

Pencil Holder - It’s not a coincidence that I was able to find the absolute perfect match to my desk mat in this Poeland Desktop Storage Organizer in White and Tan. The beige matched spot on with my desk mat, and even goes nicely with the colour on the other side of the mat due to its neutral earth tone. I love the simplicity of this organizer, and the fact that you can change around the slots to customize how you are storing things in it. You can also separate the tan piece from the white piece to give yourself two storage options, which is EXTRA versatile. Vase - As the perfect aesthetic touch to my space, I added this CEMABT Vase for Pampas. Not only is this the cutest donut vase in the world, it’s trendy and super affordable at only $12. It’s white, but textured with light speckles on it that adds more to the overall look of the vase. I additionally wanted something that wasn’t too big since I was adding some of my own art close to it, and it’s the perfect size for a small space. It's about the size of my hand, but still heavy and durable since it's made of ceramic. It truly is the perfect decor piece!

Pampas - Lastly, no vase is complete without a little pampas to add an oomph factor. This 18” Artificial Pampas Grass has been my most shocking purchase yet from amazon. For just $12.99, I got 6 pampas stems - 3 in beige, and 3 in taupe. They were so FULL and FLUFFY that I only needed 3 for my little vase. It looks fabulous and is so well-priced for the amount you’re getting. These are definitely checked off as Tried & True For You. Putting the entire look together with my little piece of art has majorly upgraded a mundane office space to a little Pinterest beige aesthetic workspace.
